10 Minute Tip
When prepping for a new project (perhaps a SEW ALONG?) I like to get organized. I choose a bin to hold all of the fabrics, the printed instructions, and any special rulers or tools I might need. This way, I can keep everything together and ready to go. I also put the finished blocks and cut pieces in the bin as well. I use binding clips to hold pieces together that I don't want to get separated from one another. I keep scraps from previous steps in the bin as well, they might come in handy in future steps! Once the quilt or project is complete, I can empty the bin and use it again for another project.
I use these bins (older version) because they close and they stack. I have a dozen or more in several different sizes. They are great for taking projects along to bee group, sewing days, classes or retreats.
