ABOUT

After making my first quilt in 1997, I was hooked! In 2012, and many quilts later, I created the online pattern company and website called Butterfly Threads Quilting. I have published dozens of patterns, created templates, and was a regular contributing writer to the Craftsy Quilting Blog for 5 years. Since 2015, I have been traveling the country teaching quilt techniques and sharing the love of scrap quilts! My two books Scrap Quilt Secrets and Strip Quilt Secrets have both been published by C&T. I design fabric for Blank Quilting Fabrics and I'm currently developing online classes and presentations that will be found on my website.

  1. Hi Diane
This is Sarah from Cardiff in the UK. We sat next to each other in Brigitte Giblin's workshop in Nantes ( it already seems a long time ago!!). It was so nice meeting you and although we live miles apart we seem to have so many things in common ( like many quilters do!). I have enjoyed reading your blog and looking at your website and will definitely order your book! You must come to London sometime to visit the Liberty store in Regent's street ! You are also welcome to visit us in Cradiff in Wales as there are many interesting places to visit as well.I hope you had a safe journey home ! Best wishes, Sarah
