Home Again!

If you follow me on social media, you know that we just returned home from an epic 6 week cross country road trip. We drove to Oregon for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show where I took 5 classes! Then we spent a month camping along the coast, visiting some favorite places as well as lots of new ones. We also drove along the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, and camped near Lake Wallowa. It is one of our new favorite places on earth! We even got to meet my sweet friend Lisa in real life for the first time finally! Then we made our way back east, stopping in Paducah for a visit to the National Quilt Museum. While we had an amazing time, I am pretty sure our dogs had more fun than we did. They absolutely love an adventure and hiking, playing, swimming in the ocean, chilling by the fire, and meeting new friends everywhere they go, are their favorite things to do. They still run for the truck when they see the camper hooked up. It’s a joy to witness their enthusiasm every single day.

The photos above are just a few of the many I shared on social media. I plan to order a printed book of the daily travel log that I shared, plus a few more of the hundreds of photos we took.

So far this year, we have been to California, driven through the southwest and visited the Grand Canyon, camped in the Everglades and the mountains of Arkansas, and camped throughout the Pacific Northwest. Rumi and Daisy have sniffed it all!

We are so lucky to be living this adventure with them.
